Arrivals in Santiago

The city of Santiago de Compostela is where every pilgrim is receiving their final stamp of the Cathedral of Santiago in the pilgrim’s credential and where the traditional pilgrimage certificate is issued, called the Compostela. This all happens in the Pilgrim’s Office next to the Cathedral.

The Pilgrim’s Reception Office is constantly counting the number of Compostelas issued every day.

And this is turned into the official number of pilgrims that are arriving in Santiago.

Today 11 pilgrims have arrived in Santiago de Compostela.

This number is actually updated several times every day.
